Guardian Full-Face Mask
This recall involves Guardian full-face masks. These scuba diving masks incorporate the second stage regulator into the mask, allowing it to cover the diver's full face.
If significant pressure is applied vertically to the top and bottom of the visor clamp, the clear plastic visor may dislodge, causing the mask to flood.
In cooperation with the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Health Canada, Ocean Technology Systems is voluntarily recalling these diving masks.
Ocean Technology Systems has received three reports of the visor dislodging, with no reported injuries.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these masks.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled diving masks and contact Ocean Technology to receive a free repair.
