AshlandTM Glass Vase
Joint Recall with Micheals Stores, Inc, Health Canada, and the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (U.S. CPSC)
The rectangular vases are made of clear glass and stand 30.5 centimetres (12 inches) tall, 20.3 centimetres (8 inches) wide and 6 centimetres (2.5 inches) deep.
The SKU number 10425827 and UPC number 06927619661665 are printed on a label on the bottom of the vase.
The glass vases can break or fracture when a consumer picks them up, posing a laceration hazard to consumers.
In the United States, Michaels Stores Inc. has received four reports of the vase shattering, causing lacerations to the hands for all four. No injuries have been reported in Canada.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these vases.
Consumers should stop using this product immediately and return it to any Michaels Arts & Crafts Store for a full refund. To avoid the risk of breakage and possible injury, handle the vase with care.

Approximately 1,800 of the vases were sold in Canada and approximately 28,000 in the United States.
The recalled products were sold from January 2008 to October 2010 in both Canada and the United States.
